Creator Fees & Rewards
Proto aligns the long-term success of token creators with their communities by offering one of the most creator-friendly fee structures in the entire blockchain ecosystem.
70/30 Fee Distribution
Every trade executed on a Proto market generates a standard 1% pool fee. This fee accumulates transparently in both ETH and the launched token.
Here is how fees are divided:
- 70% to Token Creator: The deployer of the token earns 70% of all accumulated trading fees on an ongoing basis.
- 30% to Protocol & Community Burns: 30% goes to platform sustainability, of which 80% is automatically used to purchase and permanently burn tokens via Uniswap TWAP.
How Creators Claim Rewards
- Connect the wallet that originally created the token.
- Go to your Profile page (
/profile). - Under the My Launches section, view your accumulated uncollected ETH and token rewards.
- Click Claim Fees to withdraw your rewards directly to your wallet in a single transaction.
Fee Redirection (Community Takeovers)
If a creator wishes to reward their community or hand over project leadership:
- Creators can redirect their 70% fee stream to a DAO treasury, community multisig, or reward contract.
- This feature empowers community takeovers (CTO) by turning project revenue into community-owned funding.
