Launching a Token
Creating your own token on Proto takes less than two minutes and requires zero coding or blockchain development experience.
Step-by-Step Launch Guide
1. Connect Your Wallet
Navigate to proto.family and click Connect Wallet in the top navigation bar. Make sure your wallet is connected to Robinhood Chain (Chain ID: 4663).
2. Go to the Create Page
Click Create or navigate directly to /launchpad/create.
3. Fill in Token Details
Enter the essential information for your token:
- Token Name: The full name (e.g.,
Robin Gold). - Ticker Symbol: 3 to 6 uppercase letters (e.g.,
GOLD). - Description: A short introduction describing your token, purpose, or community vision.
- Token Logo: Upload an image file (PNG, JPG, SVG, or WebP). Proto automatically compresses your picture and securely pins it to IPFS.
4. Add Community Links (Optional)
You can include official links so traders can verify and join your project:
- Website URL
- Official X (Twitter) handle
- Community Telegram link
5. Initial Buy (Optional)
If you wish to purchase an initial allocation as the creator at the launch price, enter the desired ETH amount.
6. Confirm & Deploy
Click Launch Token and confirm the transaction in your wallet:
- Launch Fee: Fixed at
0.0005 ETHto deploy contracts and set up liquidity. - Once the transaction confirms, your token is live, verifiable, and tradable immediately!
What Happens to Token Supply?
Every token created on Proto has a strictly fixed supply:
- Total Supply: Exactly 1,000,000,000 tokens (1 Billion).
- Decimals: 18.
- No Minting: No function exists to mint additional tokens after launch.
- No Pausing: The token cannot be frozen or blacklisted.
